Marinha Beach
This is certainly the most gorgeous beach of many along this stretch of the coast. Being a cliff side beach the access is via a long winding stair cut into the rock face. It takes about 5-10 minutes either way depending on your age.

Even the view from half way is great. Check the people on the sand below to get a good idea of the size of this enclosed beach. |

The cliffs are about 150' high and composed of a soft rock and sea creatures from long ago. The beach is easily a 1000' long and quite deep when the tide is out. An hour here on a clear day in February or March will fry you like a chicken. The cliff faces south so the heat builds up to 30 to 35 C very easily. |
