Rain as predicted. Warm and wet.
Eating out: We decided against the Porches restaurants for now. We made reservations (it's crazy busy here) for tonight at 'Taste'. We haven't been to Taste before and tonight is their opening night of the season. The owner said they are booked solid for the weekend. They have a good reputation around

We had a major storm here last night, but no real damage. We checked out the ocean this morning and it is a wee bit wild out there.

Freemaps
A nice little perk in the Algarve is Freemaps. It is a two-sided folded map of a specific town along the coast. The package is sponsored by local restaurants and other businesses and as the name suggest they are free and generally available from street displays.
