Thanksgiving 2013

McKercher Farm

Charlotte decided to have Thanksgiving this year and with several birthdays being celebrated she decided to invite all the relatives which includes her brother Allan and her sister Carolyn along with Don's sisters Mary and Janet. When you add on the next two generations, spouses, girlfriends, you have 28 people, so she decided to have it in the garage.  The weather co-operated and only a little supplemental heat was required.  Everyone spent the rest of the afternoon outside.

I have two terrific sister-in-laws, Janet and Charlotte.  In spite of being the ruffian that I am they treat me so well.

Janet brought along her latest volume of the family history.  This volume deals with the Sparling side of the family.  Bob's mother was a Sparling.
