Fall Colours--Mary's Flowers

Every year the fall season produces a spectacular show around our place and I always want to photograph it.  Some of M's flowers have some very deep colours and together with the trees they put on a great display.

These are Mary's flowers which are just spectacular in the light of Fall

This is the largest maple on our land.  Only a grand oak with a 5' trunk can rival it.  This maple is split and rotten to the point where two people can stand inside of the trunk, yet is continues to leaf out year after year enhancing our driveway.  Truly one of natures spectacular shows of survival.  I took this with the morning sun hidden behind the main trunk.
This tree is our 25th anniversary tree.  We dug it up from the back of the property 2000' feet away and replanted it here in 1995.  It is now the nicest maple we have and it about 30' high.
