We received email from Robert this morning. His fellow teacher Raj took this photo on Sunday as winter was setting in. This is Lac Simard at the edge of Moffet, P.Q. The reserve where Rob is teaching is about 15 miles away at the other end of the lake. This is a beautiful lake which only now looks barren. I don't think there is a cottage on the whole lake. Of course we had ten inches of snow here in southern Ontario and we had drifts of thirty inches in our parking lot. The snow blower had it's first run.
Rob also sent us this picture of his class. They are Stephanie, Kelsey, Brandon, Kurt, Josh and Jacob. They were reading 'In Flanders Fields' on the intercom that day.
