After stopping to photograph the roundabout we headed toward the restaurant. This road leads into the country and eventually into the major town of Lagoa about 3 km away. That's why there is no sidewalk.
A 5 minute walk along a wall (most local roads have walls==like we have fences) and Reconta de Boa Vista appears and as we expected with lots of little white vans, etc. The owner greeted us like we were old friends. He has a big seating inside but we decided on the patio that surrounds one side of the building. No sun!!!! No problem he says. The sun will come to 'this' table. Well, it took 15 minutes but the sun eventually covered our table.
He only had two specials for lunch and we elected for the cod with potatoes and salad, couvert, an almost full carafe of wine and desert. It was all good for 14 euros each.
