It's Christmas eve and we are expecting Mike home from Calgary and the crew from Toronto (Rob, Hong, Will and Amelia. I have been tracking Mike from Calgary on Flightaware and his flight passed into Ontario about 1:30 and is expected in London about 3:20. Received a text from Hong and they are expected about 2:15 which won't be long.
We had a couple of nice visitors lately. Last night Shae-Lyn from across the road came up with some of her baking. I think she is now about 20 and off to animation school soon. Today Sparrow from next door came over with a card and as with Shae-Lyn I am always surprised how much they have changed. Both are extremely accomplished and pleasant girls. Lucky parents.
Christmas morning was as usual with the kids having a great time opening presents. About 11:30 we left home in two cars to visit the 'farm' at Seaforth. Actually the clan met at John and Lorna's house across the road from the home farm. There were about 20 of us and we had a nice time. Weather was a bit foggy but we got home around 6.
We played some Jenga with the kids and they were in bed by 8.
