Last Saturday we had an excellent three hour sail. The wind was 8 to 10 knots and we were doing around 4 to 5 knots on the water. It was a good shakedown cruise.
This weekend the winds were light. The Goderich Yacht Club held its annual Pork and Strawberry supper. Mary is in charge of the strawberries and she and I cleaned all 16 boxes of the strawberries early in the afternoon. It was a good supper and I found the pork excellent. Instead of cooking steak (in past years) we had a few cooks running the BBQ's and they did a great job.
Today I was working on the plywood insert to enable both house batteries to go under the settee.
Went for ice cream with Zoran and Maria. Zoran doing pretty well after starting chemo last Monday.
