It is Dec. 13 and time to cut the tree. Mary and I did a walkabout a few weeks ago and chose the tree for this year. Today we did the deed and here it sits in the living room being very bushy and a bit fat. None the less it is our own home grown tree cut from trees with planted on the upper banks of the Thames River valley below the house. We have had one major snow event when we received about 30 cm and Buffalo received about 200 cm (my God!), but it is very green now and 40 deg.
