Portugal 2013

We made our way to Portugal again this year.  We have done this often enough that we have all of the travel arrangements down pat and everything goes smoothly.   After landing in Faro in the Algarve province we picked up our rental car and drove to Rocha Brava.  We have chosen to stay there year after year for many reasons and I doubt that we will change in the years ahead. 

We spent an afternoon in the Old Town in Albufiera with Charlie and Mary, but missed
John and Mary who didn't make it this year. 



This is Marinha Beach.  The walk down the stair is gorgeous.  Those cliffs are\
about 150' high.  This is about two kilometres from Rocha Brava.

 We spent two days at the Formula One track during manufacturers testing.  We spent a lot of time in the pits

looking at many of the 50 cars from different manufacturers.  We even talked to the president of Radical racing from Peterborough in England.  The noise was horrific.  This is a new track located in the mountains in

the Algarve.  The track is in a gorgeous location.  Click on the pic below to see the detail.
