We had a good New Years Eve starting at Joan's Olie Bollen party in London. OB's are a Dutch treat rather like an apple fritter. They are deep fried and served with powdered icing sugar. I limited myself to one, although there have been years when I downed a dozen or more.

| Arriving at Joan's for Olie Bollens. A New Years tradition for Joan |
From Joan's we went to Ingersoll for supper with Wayne and Meg and then on to Tillsonburg for a late evening party at Karen's house.

This church was built by his grandfather.
It is quite large and is complete with pews and parishoners. |

Karen and Elaine. Karen is one of my heroes; an intrepid personality whose
