Home from the woods

 Well we certainly have had our share of snow.  We are now over 40" for December.  Mary picked out the christmas tree about a month ago.  She found one midst the spruce woods on the front of our place.  We planted these and other trees 18 years ago and now most are 35 feet high.  Finding a christmas tree is getting harder.  Yesterday we tromped through the snow (M had her snowshoes on) and we found the tree in the deep snow.  We cleared the snow to cut and hauled the tree back up to the house (a major task for old farts).  Here are some pics of the snow and the tree cutting.
