Christening

 On December 22, 2010 our latest great nephew Rowan was christened in Northside United Church in Seaforth.  Our niece Laura (daughter of Mary's brother Don) and her partner Sean are spending the holidays in Ontario after coming home from Vancouver where they live.  Being close to Christmas the church was decorated and some Christmas music was included in the ceremony.  The christening attracted a large crowd and the little fellow got a great welcome.  The family returned to the farm for supper and as usual Charlotte had the house decorated beautifully for Christmas.  I am in my 70th year now and it reminded me of when Bob and Greta first welcomed me to that same house forty-two years ago.  Much has changed, but thankfully much has not.
